CHENGDU, July 16 (Xinhua) -- A wildlife photo exhibition opened Monday in the city of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan, showing the crazy "zootopia" to Chinese audiences.
Organized by the Chengdu Museum and a cultural company of Sichuan, 87 sets of photographs are being displayed on the Wildlife Photographer of the Year in the museum until Sept. 1.
All photos are elected from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, held by Britain's Natural History Museum and the BBC Wildlife Magazine, in which more than 50,000 photos from 95 countries participated.
Visitors are expected to see amazing moments of wild animals on the free exhibition, including a North American water snake encounters a giant salamander, a tree lizard beats a centipede, and a female lion drinks water.
The organizer said that 87 sets of LED light boxes are used in this exhibition to create a mysterious and vivid wild environment for the audience.
