PRAGUE, April 19 (Xinhua) -- Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI) recorded on Thursday the highest temperatures for April 19 in the past 30 years.
The maximum temperature record was beaten at the country's multiple weather stations.
Out of the 150 stations across the country, the temperature record of 41 stations will be rewritten after Thursday.
Meteorologists measured 26.5 degrees Celsius in Brno-Zabovresky, a place north-west of Brno, a center of the South Moravia region.
According to CHMI, such summer like weather is expected on Friday too. Temperatures in the West Bohemia could reach up to 28 degrees Celsius.
